How to freeze time in CS:GO

Freezing time in CS:GO ain't something you can do in a regular match since it'd mess up the gameplay. But if you're running a server or in a private match and want to mess around, you can use the console command 'mp_roundtime_defuse 60' for example, where '60' can be any number of minutes you want the round to last. Just remember to enable cheats first by typing 'sv_cheats 1' into the console.

Nope, you can't freeze time in online matches. That would be chaos!

I tried the 'mp_roundtime_defuse' command in a private lobby with friends, and it was hilarious. We had all the time in the world to plan our strategies or just mess around. Make sure cheats are enabled with 'sv_cheats 1' first!
