How to set 1280×960 resolution in CSGO using AMD settings?

Easy peasy! Just open up your AMD Radeon Settings. Navigate to the 'Display' tab and then look for the option that says 'Custom Resolutions.' From there, you can create a new resolution setting, and just type in 1280 for width and 960 for height. Make sure you apply the settings and boom, you should be good to go! Restart CSGO and set the game resolution to your new custom one.

Honestly, just play on the resolution the game sets for you. Tweaking these settings for a bit of an edge seems like a lot of work for not much gain.

Had the same question a while back! What worked for me: directly modify the game's launch options in Steam. Right-click CS:GO in your library, go to 'Properties,' then 'Set Launch Options...' and type in '-w 1280 -h 960'. This forces the game to start with your desired resolution. No need to mess with AMD settings if you're not comfortable.
