How to get 1440 by 1080 in CS:GO

Easy peasy! Just go into your CS:GO settings, hit up the Video Settings, and you might notice you can't directly choose 1440x1080. No worries! Exit the game, right-click on your desktop, and go to Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings, depending on your GPU. Add a custom resolution of 1440x1080 there. Make sure to select this new resolution in the control panel, then boot up CS:GO again. Now, within the Video Settings, select 'Fullscreen Windowed' mode, and voila, you should be gaming in crisp 1440x1080 resolution!

lol just play in 1920x1080, why bother with 1440x1080? Better yet, get a 144Hz monitor and enjoy the smoothness.

Been playing CS:GO for years and switched to 1440x1080 for that sweet, sweet stretched effect. Makes enemies look bigger and easier to hit. Just add the resolution through your graphics card settings, and it's game on. Worked like a charm for me!
