Setting a custom resolution in CS:GO is a piece of cake! First, right-click on your desktop and go to 'NVIDIA Control Panel' or 'AMD Radeon Settings' depending on your GPU. Look for the 'Display' or 'Display Management' section, and there should be an option to create custom resolutions. After setting your desired resolution, open CS:GO, go to settings, and select the video tab. Your custom resolution should appear in the dropdown menu. Make sure to test the game afterwards to ensure everything looks right.

Just a heads-up, if you're trying to set a custom resolution in CS:GO, it might not always give you a competitive edge. Sometimes, sticking to the recommended settings ensures the best performance and game experience.

I personally use a custom resolution because it gives me better control and I feel like my performance is better. Just make sure you play around with the settings in your graphics card control panel and then select it in the game. It's trial and error, but once you find the perfect setup, it's totally worth it!
