Actually, there's a twist. If you're just looking to showcase or practice with the butterfly knife in a non-competitive, private setting, using the console command 'give weapon_knife_butterfly;ent_fire weapon_knife addoutput "classname weapon_knifegg"' after enabling cheats does the trick. Used it in a private match with friends to practice tricks without needing to own one in my inventory.
