Getting cases in CS:GO is all about playing the game. The more you play, especially if you've got Prime Status, the higher your chances of receiving a case as a random drop post-match. For keys, though, you'll have to buy them directly from the in-game store or Steam Market. Remember, opening cases is a gamble - you might get something super cool or end up with something less exciting.

I swear, I get more cases when I play with friends. Not sure if it's luck or what. As for keys, only buy what you need when you need it. I once got a knife from a case, so yeah, sometimes it's worth it!
