If you can clutch a round or share some solid strats, even better! Just play well and be nice, and the commendations will start rolling in. Also, don't shy away from commending others; sometimes, they'll return the favor.

Honestly, just ask for them nicely at the end of a match. You'd be surprised how many people are willing to give commendations if you just ask. Worked for me!
