Hot take: Windowed Fullscreen is better than Fullscreen cause you can alt-tab faster. But if you wanna go full immersion, just follow the steps in Video Settings.

Easy fix! Just go to your CS:GO settings, hit the 'Video Settings' tab, and there you'll find the 'Display Mode' option. Change it from 'Windowed' or 'Windowed Fullscreen' to 'Fullscreen.' You might need to restart the game for the changes to take effect, but this usually does the trick!

Literally had this issue last week! I changed it to Fullscreen in the Video Settings, but nothing happened until I restarted CS:GO. So, give your game a quick restart after changing the settings. Worked like a charm for me!
