Quick fix if you're desperate: hit Alt + Enter while the game is running. It forces most games into fullscreen mode. Not the most elegant solution, but it gets the job done with minimal fuss.

I had the same issue on my MacBook. Ended up tweaking the resolution settings within CS:GO itself and voila! Fullscreen glory was mine. Make sure your in-game resolution matches your MacBook's for the best experience.

To get CS:GO running fullscreen on your MacBook Pro, you just gotta dive into the game settings. Head to Options > Video Settings and select Fullscreen from the Display Mode dropdown. This should do the trick! Sometimes, changing your Mac's resolution before launching the game helps too, especially if you're playing on an older MacBook.

Honestly, just play in windowed mode. Less hassle and it's easier to switch between tasks. Who needs fullscreen anyway?
