Getting CS:GO to run in a 4:3 stretched resolution isn't as complicated as it sounds! First, you gotta set your game resolution to 4:3 in the video settings. Then, tweak your graphics card settings. If you're using an NVIDIA card, head to the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 'Adjust desktop size and position', select 'Full-screen' under scaling and make sure 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs' is checked. For AMD, it's pretty similar: go to AMD Radeon Settings, Display tab, and enable GPU Scaling and select Full Panel. Boom, enjoy your 4:3 stretched!

Honestly, why bother? 16:9 is the way to go. You get way more peripheral vision. 4:3 stretched is so 2012.
