How to Get CS:GO on a Chromebook

So if you wanna play CS:GO on your Chromebook, you're in for a bit of a challenge cuz it's not directly supported. BUT, there's a way around this. You can use cloud gaming services like GeForce Now if it's available in your region. You'll stream the game from their servers, which works pretty well if your internet connection can handle it. Also, you can install Linux on your Chromebook (it's not as scary as it sounds) and then install Steam through Linux. This way might take a bit of patience with setting up, but it's totally doable!

No can do, Chief. CS:GO isn’t natively supported on Chromebooks. They're great for a lot of things, but running high-end games like CS:GO isn't one of them. Even if you manage to get it running, don't expect a smooth experience.

I've actually done this! Installed Linux on my Chromebook and then got Steam running through it. It's a bit of a project, but playing CS:GO on a Chromebook feels like a big achievement. Just make sure your Chromebook has enough oomph, or it'll be like trying to race a snail.
