How to get CS:GO stretched resolution
Best answer

Ah, ye olde stretched res quest! So let's dive straight into the pixel soup - you'll want to adjust your graphics card settings. If you're on NVIDIA, open the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to 'Adjust desktop size and position', and select 'Full-screen' under the 'Scaling' tab. Make sure to check 'Override the scaling mode set by games and programs'. For AMD users, right-click on your desktop, open AMD Radeon Settings, go to 'Display' settings, and enable 'GPU Scaling' and change the scaling mode to 'Full Panel'. Now, just set CS:GO to the lower resolution you want stretched, and voila, enjoy your big, chunky pixels that could potentially give you an edge in spotting enemies!

Just play on whatever the default settings are, man. Messing with your res could mess with your game. Keep it simple.

I switched to stretched res a while back and honestly, it felt like it made a huge difference in my reaction time. Enemies appear larger, making them easier to spot and hit. The downside? Everything looks kinda wonky, but you get used to it.
