Oh, getting your FPS counter up in CS:GO is a piece of cake! Just open the game, hit the `tilde key (~)` to bring up the console. If the console doesn't open, make sure it's enabled in your game settings under 'Game Settings > Enable Developer Console'. Once the console is open, just type in `cl_showfps 1` and hit enter. Your FPS counter should pop up on your screen. If you want to dive deeper, you can also use `net_graph 1` which not only shows FPS but also other info like ping and packet loss.

Honestly, I prefer using Steam's built-in FPS counter for CS:GO. Just go to Steam settings, in the 'In-Game' tab, and check the 'In-Game FPS counter' box. You can choose the corner of the screen where it appears too. No need to mess around with console commands!
