Jumping back into CS:GO after a break can feel like relearning to ride a bike, except the bike is on fire, and you're blindfolded. Jokes aside, start with the basics. Reacquaint yourself with the maps, maybe spend some hours in aim training maps (like Aim Botz or training_aim_csgo2). Don't rush into competitive games. Give yourself time to get comfortable with your sensitivity settings again and maybe watch some recent pro matches to get a sense of the current meta. Oh, and playing with friends can make the return less daunting and more fun!

Honestly, the game's changed a lot if you've taken a long hiatus. Update yourself on the new weapons and any changes to maps you used to dominate. Sometimes what worked in the past might not hold up now. And yeah, aim maps are good, but don't sleep on utility practice maps. Knowing how to properly smoke or flash can make or break rounds.
