Unfortunately, in CS:GO, the FOV (Field of View) is fixed for all players to ensure fairness in gameplay. The max FOV you can get on a 16:9 monitor is 90. However, playing on a 4:3 aspect ratio can make the game look 'zoomed in,' which some players prefer for a feeling of higher FOV. Changing your aspect ratio is the closest you'll get to changing the FOV.

While CS:GO doesn't technically allow you to change the FOV like in some other games, you can adjust your viewmodel to make it feel like you're seeing more of the game. Use the console commands like `viewmodel_fov` (max is 68), `viewmodel_offset_x`, `viewmodel_offset_y`, and `viewmodel_offset_z` to adjust your gun's position. It doesn't change the actual game FOV, but it can give the illusion of a larger FOV by making more of the map visible around your weapon.

Just stick with the default FOV, guys. Changing your viewmodel might seem cool, but it doesn't actually give you an advantage. Plus, it can mess with your muscle memory. CS:GO is about skill, not how much of the map you can see at once.
