Honestly, I just buy it. Once you've got a decent farm going and money starts coming in, the Adventurer's Guild sells it. Not the most cost-effective way, but hey, it saves time!

For an abundance of fiber, hit up the Mutant Bug Lair (unlocked after completing the Dark Talisman quest). Those weeds respawn daily! Also, don't ignore your farm's weeds, especially in the early game. Chopping them down is a quick way to stock up. Plus, exploring the mines, especially the early levels, can yield a good amount of fiber from the various weeds scattered around.

Just scythe everything! Seriously, every weed on your farm, in the mines, and don't forget about the Secret Woods. It's like a fiber jackpot in there. Also, keep an eye on the traveling cart. Sometimes, they sell it on the cheap.
