Actually, going for the Perfection Statue is overkill. Just enjoy the game at your own pace. The statue is cool, but not worth the stress.

I finally got the Perfection Statue, and let me tell ya, seeing my farm with that statue was the highlight of my Stardew career. But be prepared, it's a real time sink; however, every minute was worth it for the bragging rights alone.
