First off, make sure your internet connection is stable. Wired connections work best for gaming, so if you're on Wi-Fi, consider switching to an Ethernet cable. Also, close any background applications or downloads that could be eating up your bandwidth. Sometimes, simply resetting your router can make a huge difference. And if all else fails, lower your game settings. Reducing graphics settings can significantly decrease lag.

Try updating your network drivers and make sure your CS:GO is up to date too. Outdated drivers can cause a lot of unexpected lag spikes.

Lower your expectations, the internet is a wild place. Sometimes lag is just part of the game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly, just play at odd hours. Servers get super crowded at peak times, which can cause lag. Plus, you get to meet the night owl gamers, which is always a plus.

I had the same issue, turned out my roommate was binge-watching shows every evening, hogging all the bandwidth. Talk to your household about heavy internet use during your game times, might help!
