Honestly, trying to get someone to 1 HP is like trying to win the lottery. But if you're really into it, experiment with fall damage. Make them jump from a height that's calculated to leave them limping but not quite out. Requires some serious map knowledge and a cooperative 'victim' though. Good luck!

Aim for indirect molotov damage. If they're quick enough to jump out of the fire, they might just survive with a sliver of health. High risk and hard to control, but oh so satisfying when it works.

Getting a player to exactly 1 HP in CS:GO is more about luck than a specific strategy, but using grenades cleverly is your best bet. Aim for a 'chip damage' with a HE grenade by making sure there's a good distance between the blast and the player. Or, if you're feeling cheeky, a well-placed Zeus shot from a distance can sometimes do minimal damage, leaving them barely hanging on.
