How to Get the FPS Counter in CS:GO
Best answer

Just hit 'Shift+Tab' to open the Steam Overlay while in-game, then go to 'Settings' > 'In-Game' and find the 'In-Game FPS counter'. Choose where you want it to appear on your screen. No need to mess with the console commands.

Honestly, all these methods are fine, but I prefer using third-party apps like FRAPS for a more detailed FPS counter. Sure, CS:GO's built-in method works, but if you want more analytics, go the extra mile.

cl_showfps 1 in console. Done.

Easy peasy! Press the tilde key (`~`) to open the console in CS:GO. If it doesn't open, you'll need to enable it first from the game settings under 'Game Settings' > 'Enable Developer Console'. Once it's enabled and open, just type 'cl_showfps 1' to get the FPS counter on your screen. If you wanna turn it off, just type 'cl_showfps 0'. Happy gaming!
