I gifted my buddy an M9 Bayonet last Christmas. Straight up, just used the Steam trade offer. Made sure we were both good on the Steam Guard thing, and it was smooth sailing. Nothing like seeing your friend's face light up when they get that shiny blade in their inventory.

Just sell it on the Steam Market and let your friend buy it. Easier than dealing with trade holds if you ask me.

To give an M9 Bayonet in CS:GO, you gotta trade it directly with another player through the Steam Trading interface. First, make sure you're Steam friends with the person you wanna give it to. Then, go to your inventory, select the bayonet, and choose 'Trade' to initiate the process. Remember, both parties need to have Steam Guard enabled for at least 15 days to trade.
