Giving a smoke grenade to a teammate in CS:GO isn't as straightforward as just hitting a button. Unfortunately, you can't directly 'give' items to other players during a match. But, you can drop your smoke grenade (default key 'G') for your teammate to pick up. Just make sure you communicate with your team so they know what you're dropping and why!

Nope, you can't just hand over smokes like candy. Best you can do is drop it with 'G' and hope your teammate grabs it before the other team does. Keep it tactical, folks.

I tried giving a smoke to my buddy in a match last night. Dropped it right in front of him with 'G'. Worked like a charm! Just make sure your teammate knows it's for them.
