If you're not seeing the console pop up after hitting ~, you might have a different keyboard layout. Check if your key bindings are different or try pressing the key above TAB. Also, ensure the developer console is enabled in the settings, or else no key press will bring it up.

Just press the `~` key, but remember, only works if you've turned it on in your settings first!
