U can't slow down in ranked or casual games, only works in private lobbies. Just type 'host_timescale 0.5' in console after enabling sv_cheats. Remember playing with time can be fun but it ruins the real game experience. Keep it real, keep it 1.

Just set the game to 'host_timescale 0.2' and enjoy the super slow-mo. Makes you feel like Neo from The Matrix!

Going into slow motion in CS:GO is super cool for making those cinematic shots or just having a laugh with friends. You can't do it in regular matches, but if you're on a private server or practicing offline, open the console (enable it first in game settings) and type 'sv_cheats 1' to enable cheats. Next, type 'host_timescale 0.5' (or any fraction less than 1) to slow down time. Remember, '1' is normal speed, so adjust as you like!
