Just play until you hit level 21, then BAM, you're Prime. It's a grind, but hey, it's free.

Honestly, just buy it. Time is money and grinding to level 21 can take a while, especially if you're not playing 24/7. Buying Prime gets you into the better matchmaking instantly and opens up the goodies.
