Harvesting a planter box in Terraria is pretty straightforward! Just grab your pickaxe or drill and hit the fully grown plants. No need for gardening gloves or green thumbs here. Make sure you've given your plants enough time to grow though; if you're too eager, you'll just end up swinging at dirt.

True story: I thought you needed some special tool or something to harvest from those planter boxes. Nope. Just use your pickaxe on the ripe crops. It's literally as easy as hitting dirt. Found out the hard way after Googling and facepalming. So yeah, go forth and swing that pickaxe with pride!
