Ah, the classic quest for the stretched resolution in CS:GO, mate! It's not rocket science, don't worry. First off, you gotta dive into your GPU's control panel - Nvidia or AMD, depending on what's pumping the graphics into your screen. If you're team Nvidia, open the Nvidia Control Panel, go to 'Adjust desktop size and position', pick 'Full-screen', and boom, you're on your way. For the AMD squad, open Radeon Settings, head over to 'Display', and make sure 'GPU Scaling' is on and 'Scaling Mode' is set to 'Full Panel'. After doing this, just set your CS:GO resolution in the video settings to something lower than your monitor's native resolution, and voila - stretched screen goodness!

Been playing CS:GO stretched for years, it kinda feels like you see enemies quicker, plus my aim's better with the big models lol. Just change the resolution in the game settings to something wide like 4:3 and adjust your GPU settings as mentioned above. Easy game, easy life.
