You can't change the FOV like in other games. CS:GO has a fixed FOV set at 90 for a 16:9 aspect ratio. What you can adjust is the viewmodel FOV with the 'viewmodel_fov' command in the console. But that's just how your gun looks, not your actual gameplay FOV.

So, you wanna see more on your screen in CS:GO? Easy peasy! Just open the console (enable it in game settings first if you haven't) and type 'fov_cs_debug [number]'. Replace [number] with whatever FOV value feels right for you, but remember, too much might make things look weird. The default is usually 60, so maybe start with 75 and see how it feels?

Honestly, messing with FOV in CS:GO isn't worth it. Stick to the defaults and focus on improving your game sense and aiming instead. Changing FOV can throw off your perception and aiming.
