Wanna dip out of a mission in GTA 5? Easy peasy. Just bring up your phone in-game, head to the 'Job List', and hit the 'Quit Job' option. If that doesn't do the trick for some reason, you can always force-quit the game, though that's more like using a sledgehammer when you needed a scalpel.

Don't overthink it - if you're stuck and wanna leave a mission, just start causing chaos until you fail the mission. It's GTA; chaos is part of the fun!

Actually, just switching to another character is the cleanest way to bail on a mission without any fuss.

Just fail the mission three times, and GTA 5 will offer you the option to skip it. Not exactly quitting, but definitely gets you out of doing the mission!
