Just wanna say, not everyone thinks capping your FPS is a good idea. Higher FPS can actually make the game smoother and reduce input lag. But if you're dead set on capping it, then yeah, `fps_max` is the way to go.

Limiting your FPS in CS:GO is super simple! Just open the console by pressing the `~` key (you might need to enable it in the game settings first). Type `fps_max` followed by the number you want to cap your FPS at. So, if you want to cap it at 60, you'd type `fps_max 60`. Hit enter, and voila, you're all set!

I used to play uncapped, but after trying `fps_max 144` to match my monitor's refresh rate, the game felt a lot more stable. Definitely recommend trying it out to see how it feels for you!
