Just set it and forget it: `fps_max 60` in the console. Caps it at 60 FPS, but why limit your game? More FPS = smoother experience IMO.

Honestly, capping your FPS in CS:GO? I never got the point. Unless you're trying to prevent your PC from blasting off or your monitor can't keep up, just let it run wild.
