Easy fix! Just hit your console key (usually `) to open the developer console. Then type 'voice_scale 0.5' (without quotes) and hit enter. This command adjusts the volume of voice chat to 50% of its max. Feel free to adjust the '0.5' to whatever level suits you, like 0.3 for 30%, etc.

Honestly, adjusting the voice chat volume directly in the game settings never did it for me. I found the console command 'voice_scale' to be a game-changer. Depending on how loud your teammates are, playing around with settings from 0.1 to 0.9 can really enhance your gaming experience. It lets you balance game sounds and voice chat perfectly, so you can still hear footsteps and gunshots without getting your ears blasted by someone's yelling.
