Setting up a CS:GO server for you and your friends is like starting your own private battleground! First, you'll need to download the CS:GO dedicated server files from SteamCMD. Once you have those, run the server application and configure it to your liking (map rotation, game modes, etc.). Make sure to forward the necessary ports on your router (usually 27015) to allow your friends to connect. Lastly, share your public IP address with your pals, and they should be able to join your server through the console by typing 'connect your.ip.address.here'. Happy gaming!

Honestly, just rent a server from a hosting service. It's way easier than setting it up yourself and not that expensive. Plus, you avoid the headache of dealing with technical issues.

Why bother? Just use community servers lol.
