Making a custom match in CS:GO is pretty straightforward. First off, launch the game and select 'Play' from the main menu. Then choose 'Workshop Maps' in the dropdown menu. You can either pick an existing map you've subscribed to or browse the workshop for something new. After choosing the map, hit the 'GO' button, and in the lobby, set the game to 'Private Match'. Invite your friends, and you're ready to roll!

Honestly, why bother with custom when matchmaking is where the real action's at? Just saying.
