Just rent one, seriously. Setting up a CSGO server yourself can be a pain. Plenty of companies offer game servers for a few bucks a month. They handle all the technical stuff, and you just play!

I did it once, nightmare fuel. Follow a guide online meticulously. If you miss one step, good luck figuring out which. But when it works, it's pretty cool to have your own playground.

Making a CSGO server ain't rocket science! First, you'll need a decent PC or a server to host it on. Download and install SteamCMD to get started. Once installed, launch SteamCMD, login anonymously, and use the 'app_update 740' command to download the CS:GO server files. After that, it's all about configuring your server.cfg file with your preferred settings - map rotation, game modes, etc. Don't forget to forward your ports if you're hosting at home so friends can join.
