How to Make an End Portal in Minecraft
Last updated
Have you ever wondered how to step into the mysterious End dimension in Minecraft? Well, you’re not alone! Creating an End Portal is your ticket to battling the dragon and exploring countless End cities.
Let’s dive into the steps on how to create an End Portal in Minecraft, making your adventure even more thrilling.
Quick Guide to Making an End Portal
First off, you can’t actually create an End Portal in the traditional way you make things in Minecraft. Instead, you find a portal or build it in Creative mode.
In Survival mode, your best bet is to locate a stronghold using Eyes of Ender, which lead you right to an End Portal frame. Once there, you need to activate the portal by placing an Eye of Ender in each of the 12 frames around the portal.
Creating an End Portal in Creative Mode
If you’re in Creative mode, you have more freedom. Here, you can actually build an End Portal. To do this, you’ll need End Portal Frame blocks, which you can find in your inventory. Place them in a 3×3 square but leave the corners empty. Make sure the green tabs on the top of the frames are pointing towards the inside. Next, fill each frame with an Eye of Ender, and voilà, your portal is ready to whisk you away to the End.
