How to Make an End Portal in Minecraft: A Step-by-Step Guide
Last updated
Ever wondered how to create your very own End Portal in Minecraft? You’re not alone! This magical gateway is your ticket to facing the Ender Dragon, but crafting it is no small feat. Let’s dive into how you can build an End Portal yourself.
So, you’re eager to challenge the Ender Dragon and explore the mysterious End dimension in Minecraft? The first step is constructing an End Portal, but how exactly does one do that?
Creating Your End Portal
To create an End Portal in Minecraft, you first need to make sure you’re in Creative mode, as it’s impossible to craft an End Portal in Survival mode. You’ll need to have 12 End Portal Frame blocks and 12 Eye of Enders.
First, find a flat area. Place three End Portal Frame blocks on the ground to form a square’s side, without corners. Repeat this process until you have a complete frame. Next, insert an Eye of Ender into each of the portal frame blocks by right-clicking on them. Be careful to face the inside of the portal when placing the eyes; otherwise, the portal won’t activate. If done correctly, the portal will come to life, ready to transport you to The End.
