How to Make CSGO Hold to Aim

In CS:GO, there's no native option to switch aiming to 'hold' instead of 'toggle.' But, you can achieve this through a console command or by tweaking your config file. Add this to your config: bind "MOUSE2" "+attack2; +zoom". Whenever you press MOUSE2, you'll aim down sights, and releasing it stops the aim. It's a bit of a workaround and might take a bit to get used to, but it works!

Just adapt lol. CS:GO doesn't really need a hold to aim option, tapping right click for aiming works perfectly fine once you get the hang of it.

Actually, CS:GO is designed around quick, snap decisions and fast gameplay, which is why hold to aim isn't a standard feature. The gameplay mechanics favor quick taps over holding, which aligns with its fast-paced competitive edge.
