Just host a lobby, set it to 'Friends Need Invites,' and you're golden. No need to mess with console commands unless you fancy that sort of thing.

Starting a private match in CS:GO is pretty straightforward! Just launch the game and open the console with `~`. Then type `map <mapname>`, replacing `<mapname>` with whatever map you wanna play, like `map de_dust2`. This starts the game on that map. Next, invite your friends through the Steam overlay by pressing 'Shift+Tab', clicking on their profile, and hitting 'Invite to Game'. EZ game, EZ life!

Honestly, why bother with private matches when you can join the big leagues online? Way more fun and you get to flex on real players.
