How to Make Portals in Minecraft: A Quick Guide
Last updated
Ever wondered how to create gateways to other dimensions in Minecraft? Well, you’re in luck!
Today we’re diving into the exciting world of constructing portals in Minecraft. Whether you’re aiming to tackle the fiery depths of the Nether or explore the mysterious End, we’ve got you covered with this simple guide.
Easy Steps to Craft Your Portal
To start your adventure, you’ll first need to decide which type of portal you want to create. For the Nether, you’ll need obsidian blocks and a flint and steel to ignite it. For an End portal, it’s a bit more complex as you need to find a stronghold and activate it with Eye of Enders.
For a Nether portal, begin by constructing a rectangular frame of obsidian (4 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall). Then, with a flint and steel in hand, right-click the inside of the frame to bring the portal to life. Voilà! You’re ready to face the Nether. For the End portal, finding the stronghold is your first challenge. Once there, place an Eye of Ender in each of the frames surrounding the portal pit. When all eyes are in place, the portal activates, and your journey to the End begins.
