Just switch to toggle in the game settings. No need to mess with console commands if you're not comfortable. Easy peasy.

All these commands and settings, but honestly, just get used to holding it down. You'll aim better in clutch moments without thinking about toggling.

Making your scope hold in CS:GO is pretty straightforward! Open your console by pressing the tilde key (~) then type or paste this command: bind "MOUSE3" +attack2. This will make your right mouse button (or whichever button you choose) toggle the scope instead of having to hold it down. You can replace "MOUSE3" with any key you prefer. Happy sniping!

For me, I customized my mouse software to make the right click a toggle for scoping in CS:GO. Worked like a charm and didn't have to fiddle with in-game settings.
