You can't exactly make your name 'private' in Valorant, but you can change your display name to something less identifiable. Privacy in Valorant is a bit of a misnomer. You can't hide your name, but a strategic change can practically make you 'invisible'. Go with generic names, avoid personal identifiers, and maybe, just maybe, you'll blend into the Valorant crowd.

Short answer? Ya can't. Valorant doesn't let you go incognito with a private name. But, changing your name to something super random is as close as you're gonna get to 'hiding'.
