In CS:GO, marking locations for your team can make a huge difference. Sadly, you can't 'mark' spots like in some other games at the push of a button. Instead, use your mic to call out locations based on the map's callouts. Every spot has a name - learn them! Another way is to use the in-game chat for quick messages if you're not on mic. Lastly, practice makes perfect. Knowing the maps and callouts will make your callouts more effective and your team play smoother.
