How to Play CS:GO on Chromebook
Best answer

Playing CS:GO on a Chromebook? Sounds tricky but not impossible! First, you'll need to enable Linux (Beta) on your Chromebook through the settings. After that's done, download Steam for Linux from Steam's official website. Install Steam, log in to your account, and download CS:GO just like you would on a PC. Remember, not all Chromebooks can handle the game due to hardware limitations, so check your specs!

Honestly, just don't. The performance on most Chromebooks will be so bad, you'll spend more time staring at lag than actually playing. Save yourself the headache!

I got CS:GO running on my Chromebook by installing Linux and then Steam. It wasn't the smoothest experience, but it worked for casual play. Just make sure your Chromebook can handle it, and don't expect to go pro playing this way.
