To play multiplayer in Stardew Valley on Switch, you gotta have a Nintendo Switch Online membership first! Then, one of you guys creates a farm and picks the 'Co-op' option from the main menu. Choose 'Host' and either start a new farm or load an existing one. Your buddies can join by selecting 'Co-op', 'Join' and searching for your farm. Make sure y'all are friends on Nintendo Switch to see each other's games!

Quick tip: Local multiplayer on the Switch doesn't require a Nintendo Online subscription. Just sync enough controllers for everyone, choose 'Local Communication' instead of online, and make sure everyone's on the same WiFi. Instant farmhand party!
