How to Play Pokemon Cards: Instructions

Playing Pokemon cards is all about strategy and fun! Start by building a 60-card deck, which can include Pokémon, Trainer, and Energy cards. Basically, you gotta catch 'em all to build a strong team. The game kicks off by drawing 7 cards, then you place a Basic Pokemon in play to battle it out, evolving them and using Energy cards to power their moves. The aim? Knock out your opponent's Pokemon by dealing enough damage, earning Prize cards. Collect all your Prize cards first, and you're the champ!

IMO just dive in and start playing. The best way to learn is by doing. Sure, you'll make mistakes, but that's part of the fun. Just make sure your deck is legal (60 cards, no more than 4 of any card except basic Energy) and roll with it.

Honestly? Just yeet cards and see what sticks. Kidding! Sorta. You do need a strategy, but half the fun is in the chaotic beginnings. Embrace the learning curve!
