How to play Valorant with EU friends

To squad up with your EU buddies in Valorant, you'll need to ensure you all are on the same server region. Sadly, Valorant doesn't support cross-region play directly due to latency issues and to keep competition fair. What you can do is create a new Riot account and set it to the EU region. Remember, you'll start from scratch with your agent unlocks and cosmetics. To hop regions without losing progress, some players reach out to Riot Support to request a region change, but success isn't guaranteed and may not include transferring all your items.

Hot take: Just stick to your own region. The ping difference playing across continents will drive you nuts.

Here's what I did: Made an EU account and honestly, the fresh start was kinda fun. Gives you a solid excuse to grind and maybe even try new agents you normally wouldn't. Plus, playing with friends > everything else.
