Honestly, just go with community servers that run your chosen maps. Saves the hassle of setting up and you might even make new friends!

Playing workshop maps with friends in CS:GO is pretty easy and loads of fun! First, subscribe to the map you and your friends want to play on the Steam Workshop. Then, one of you needs to start a game with the map and invite the others. You can do this by going to 'Play' > 'Play with Friends' > 'Workshop Maps', then choose the map and set the lobby to private. Send those invites out, and once everyone joins, just hit 'Start' and you're good to go!
