To power your house in Fallout 4, you gotta start with the basics: get yourself some generators. Different generators produce different amounts of power, so pick what fits your needs. Then, place them near your house but not too close (you don't want that generator noise ruining the ambiance). After that, it's all about connecting them to your house using power conduits and wires. Just open the workshop menu, go to the Power section, and start laying down those conduits and wires from your generator to your gizmos and gadgets. Don't forget switches to control the flow of power, and always make sure you have enough power to feed all your electrical needs!

Just slap a generator down and wire it up to whatever needs juice. Easy peasy.

Honestly, powering your house is a waste of resources. Just find a pre-lit location!
