Been recording demos for a while now. Trust me, naming them with the date and match type helps a ton when you wanna review them later. Start with 'record 2023-10-05_competitive' and you'll thank me later!

Just hit `~` and type 'record' followed by whatever name you fancy for the demo. To finish, type 'stop'. Easy peasy.

Honestly, who records demos manually these days? Just use the auto-record feature in your favorite gaming software. Much easier.

Recording a CS:GO demo is super simple! Just open the console in-game by pressing the `~` key (you might need to enable it in the game settings first). Then, type 'record [demo name]', without the brackets, and hit enter. To stop recording, open the console again and type 'stop'. The demo will save in your CS:GO folder under the name you gave it. Happy recording!
